I help women understand and organise the important life and later-life decisions their families may one day have to deal with.
Workshops • 1-to-1 guidance • Online courses
Because life is unpredictable - and putting it off usually just leads to 'never getting round to it' (sound familiar?!)
Many of the women I work with carry a lot on their shoulders.
Running businesses. Raising children. Supporting ageing parents.
Managing the life admin for everyone else.
You might be:
• a small business owner juggling work and family
• a single mum or recently divorced mum managing everything yourself
• supporting ageing parents while still raising children
• the person everyone turns to when something needs sorting
• newly retired and wanting everything properly organised
And because you're the one who usually knows where everything is…
Would anyone else know what to do if something happened to you?
When someone becomes seriously ill or dies, families often realise they don’t actually know the things they need to know.
Important information, decisions and documents are often missing or unclear.
Families are often left trying to figure out things like:
• Is there a will and where is it kept?
• Who has lasting power of attorney if someone loses capacity?
• What accounts, pensions and policies exist?
• Where are important documents and passwords?
• What were their funeral wishes?
• What happens when it comes to probate?
• Have any care or medical wishes been written down?
When these things haven’t been organised, loved ones often end up doing detective work during one of the hardest moments of their lives.
Your Final Matters helps you understand these areas, spot what may be missing, and organise the information your family may one day need.
Most people don’t need complicated legal advice at the start.
They simply need a clear place to start and someone to guide them through what actually matters.
That’s exactly what Your Final Matters was created to do.
Being prepared means you can get on with living and enjoying life now, knowing that if the unexpected happens, your loved ones won’t be left trying to figure everything out.
Because life is not a dress rehearsal and none of us knows what tomorrow might bring.
You’re not alone. Most people feel exactly the same.
They know they should get things organised, but they’re not sure what actually matters or where to begin.
That’s exactly why I created Your Final Matters.
I guide people through the key areas families often struggle to figure out when someone becomes ill or dies.
We look at the important decisions, the practical information, and the documents that make things far easier for the people you love.
No overwhelm.
Just clear steps and practical guidance so you can get your ducks in a row.
Hello, I’m Caro Syson, founder of Your Final Matters.
I created this space to make later and end-of-life planning feel less daunting and more doable. After all, creating a ‘death plan’ should feel as normal as creating a birth plan for a newborn.
As a self-employed business owner of over 30 years, mum of four, and now an independent funeral celebrant, I’ve seen first-hand how difficult things can become when plans aren’t in place.
So now I help people get their ducks in a row while they still have a voice and a choice.
Today I help people organise the important decisions and information their families may one day need – clearly, practically and without overwhelm.
