Hello, I'm Caro (that's short for Caroline - but just stop at the line!)
I'm one of those super organised humans (who loves stationery and colour coding!) and I'm also passionate about helping you to feel seen, heard and understood.
I do that by showing you how to get your end of life information all in one place, so that as and when the time does come, your family and loved ones will have a central folder (physical and/or digital) to access all they will need to use, to ensure your wishes are respected and to make the handover much less stressful, upsetting and daunting.
While you have a voice, you still have a choice - and I want to ensure it's heard loud and clear when needed.
So what experience do I have?
Well, firstly I have worked in Financial services, and have been a business owner for the last 35 years. I am an independent funeral celebrant, portfolio landlord, app developer and a mum of 4 adult children.
I'm also an Amazon best selling Author of 'Boss Your New Small Business', a Podcaster of 'Earn More, Stress Less' and an all round continuous learner - I'm even qualified as a Kindness Rocks facilitator!
During the last 2 years I've been supporting my own 91 year old mother with her personal end of life planning, Powers or Attorney, Will, pension, finances and inheritance tax planning. It's easy to see how it could all become so overwhelming when you see how many strands we've had to pull together
When I'm not working ...
I'm a lover of the outdoors, my garden, tennis, pickleball, running and swimming and generally just love life.
I enjoy travelling and have lived abroad for a few years in Europe, India and the Middle East. I also have a New Zealand passport.
Highlights of places I've been to, are walking the Great Wall of China, trekking in Nepal and seeing the Northern Lights.
When I'm not exploring or flying away, I love to paint, bake and spend quality time with my family.
